Eating yogurt with a spoon:
Pointing to and saying "fish":
Teresa has taken to playing dress up recently. We definitely need to expand our collection of dress up clothes and accessories...but she's made do with too-small costumes and random items, and gotten her brother in on the fun, too.

I finally took Teresa to Doolittle's for her first haircut on July 14th (I got a LivingSocial deal for one kid's haircut last fall). She chose to sit in the airplane and she enjoyed watching TV while the stylist gave her a little trim. It was done quickly and you can't see much difference...maybe I'll be brave enough to trim it myself next time.

I thought Cyprian seemed to be lagging with his speaking skills, but when I wrote out all the things that he says (or tries to say) these days, I was pleasantly surprised. At 14 and a half months, Cyprian says:
hi
no
papa
mama
buh=bug, box, book, bye
bah=ball, baa (sheep), bock (chicken), bag, bath
bee bee=baby, belly button
dis=this
dat=that
peas=peas, peace (be with you, said while shaking hands), please
duh=down
dah=dog
nuh=nurse, nose
mow=mouth
moo
mah=Mary
hay=hair
wuh=woof (dog)
eyes
He also occasionally signs:
more
eat
cracker
nurse
baby
sleep
me
